F1 2021 Monaco Setup: Fastest full race setup, qualifying setup, esports, drivability setup
-
Race Setup
A setup designed to balance pace and tyre wear, your fastest way to 100% distance. Suggested for Career Mode, League Racing, Esports, or Braking Point.
-
World Record Lap Setup
The ultimate setup of the current world record lap-time. No compromises, just your fastest way around the famous Monte Carlo street circuit.

Race Setup
A twisty circuit, and widely considered the trickiest in the F1 2021 lineup, the Monaco GP is an iconic event. Unfortunately dropped from the 2021 calendar, the race is returning in May 2022. Lots of close walls can mean little mistakes are punished, so be sure to put some laps in time trial mode before risking damage under race conditions.

Aerodynamics
Typical for a street circuit, we are recommending almost maximum wing angles here. If you are getting caught on the straights, try to resist reducing the rear wing and instead adjust your exit lines.
Front Wing Aero – 10
Rear Wing Aero – 11
Transmission
Transmission is a critical area of the setup for traction, affecting acceleration, grip, rotation, tyre wear, and drivability. Increasing the On Throttle Differential will make the car more stable on acceleration, however will increase tyre wear. Varying from the norm, we are recommending a 55%/55% setup. This will aid rotation in lower speed corners and should help protect all four tyres from excessive wear.
Differential Adjustment On Throttle – 55%
Differential Adjustment Off Throttle – 55%
Suspension Geometry
Geometry adjustments mainly impact grip and tire wear, however on F1 2021 most circuits suit the same settings! Stick with high front camber, and low everything else in this section for best results.
Front Camber – -2.50°
Rear Camber – -2.00°
Front Toe – 0.06°
Rear Camber – 0.20°
Suspension
Suspension adjustments impact responsiveness and stability through corners. This is probably the most important area of the setup, so if you are struggling with rotation then the anti-roll bars are where you should start. Ride height plays a much more important role this year, so the keep the rear high to avoid the diffuser bottoming out at high speed. Floor damage can ruin performance, so a higher than usual ride height here should help protect those delicate aerodynamic surfaces. If you are running over the curbs and struggling in the chicane, then soften the front suspension.
Front Suspension – 9
Rear Suspension – 6
Front Anti-Roll Bar – 7
Rear Anti-Roll Bar – 6
Front Ride Height – 4
Rear Ride Height – 7
Brakes
For players on controller, brake adjustments can have minimal impact. If you use ABS, maintain 100% brake pressure. Otherwise, see below.
Brake Pressure – 100%
Front Brake Bias – 56%
Tyres
Tyre pressures can have a huge impact on wear and traction. Typically high rear pressures and lower front pressures are the way to go, however at Monaco all pressures are set to the minimum. This will help tyre stickiness in low speed corners, which will be critical for setting a competitive time here.
Front Right Tyre Pressure – 21.0psi
Front Left Tyre Pressure – 21.0psi
Rear Right Tyre Pressure – 19.5psi
Rear Left Tyre Pressure – 19.5psi
F1 22 ANNOUNCED
F1 22 is available to pre-order now, with a special Miami-themed content pack featuring livery, suit, helmet, gloves, a cap, t-shirt and wall art designed by a local artist, when you pre-order the game before May 16th.
The F1 22 Champions Edition also gets you on the track early with three days early access meaning you can play starting June 28th, plus get F1 22 New Era content, an F1 Life Starter Pack, new My Team Icons, and 18,000 PitCoin.

Hotlap Setup
This setup is taken from the current World Record time in time trial. It is the absolute fastest way around the Singapore Street circuit, but just once. Running a race distance on this setup will result in some fairly extreme tyre wear.
Aerodynamics
Currently the WR time uses maximum wing angles for lots of downforce. Tyres beware!
Front Wing Aero – 11
Rear Wing Aero – 11

Transmission
Low diff here for rotation, but slightly higher than the recommended race settings.
Differential Adjustment On Throttle – 60%
Differential Adjustment Off Throttle – 55%
Suspension Geometry
Fairly standard here, not far from the suggested race setup. Right, Left, Left, Left, is always a good starting point here.
Front Camber – -2.50°
Rear Camber – -2.00°
Front Toe – 0.06°
Rear Toe – 0.20°
Suspension
A radically different set up to the race setup, very good for a one lap time, however be aware tyre life will be reduced with these settings.
Front Suspension – 1
Rear Suspension – 4
Front Anti-Roll Bar – 5
Rear Anti-Roll Bar – 1
Front Ride Height – 1
Rear Ride Height – 6
Brake Pressure
Standard brakes for the WR time.
Brake Pressure – 100%
Brake Bias – 55%
Tyres
Softer fronts and firmer rears here, this will help with front end grip on the corner entry, and rear traction for good acceleration on the exit.
