EA announced the latest F1 game release this week with some surprising new additions. The game will launch on the 1st of July, with three days early access for players of the top end Champions Edition. The Playstation and Xbox Champions Edition will be priced at £79.99 in the UK, with the standard edition costing £59.99. On Steam the PC version will be £69.99, with the standard edition costing less again at £49.99.
The game features all 20 redesigned 2022 F1 cars, and promises to ‘redefine’ race day, with immersive and broadcast options for Pit Stops, Formation Laps, and more.
Miami GP Circuit
The game will feature the new hotly anticipated Miami GP Circuit, which the drivers will race around for the first time on Sunday 8th May, and is sure to be one of the most spectacular events on this years calendar. The Miami International Autodrome will also connect with the games new F1 Life features, which will allow the player to get a taste of the most glamorous parts of the sport, unlocking supercars, clothing, and more to show off to the world.
Familiar Features to Return
Existing players will be relieved to learn that fan favourite game modes, My Team, F2, and Career mode are set to return, with no mention of the two player cooperative career mode that featured in F1 2021. The in-game currency, Pitcoin, will live on another year.
